Business Development Executive - Anlaby - £25-29k D.O.E + commission + car allowance

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic, driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join a fast-growing, friendly team. We’re working with River UK, a forward thinking, full-service telecoms and energy & renewables provider, based in Anlaby.


Joining the River UK team you will be part of a buzzing environment, within which recognises and progresses talent. A real opportunity to earn large commissions above your base salary.


You will be generating new business both on the phone and face to face in acquiring new clients in an attractive industry sector so previous experience in a B2B field sales position is preferred.


With an extensive existing client base in Hull, River UK also cover other areas of the UK. Their clients locally include NHS surgeries, law firms and a number of hospitality and educational establishments. They are a KC wholesale partner and in the top tier of gaining new clients for the wholesale division.

Day-to-day duties:


• Lead the drive for new business across both new and existing client accounts.

• Client networking, identifying new opportunities for the business.

• Developing and executing strategic sales plans

• You will be identifying and contacting decision makers to consult on the benefits of telecoms services as well as general account management.

• Construct and maintain an acceptable and expanding pipeline of potential leads, with evidence on a weekly/ monthly basis of proactive sales contact via telesales/ correspondence/ client visits/ and proposal documents

• To ensure that the CRM system is regularly updated with marketing data and activity

• Ensuring that all business development activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner




Previous B2B sales experience within the UK telecoms industry would be an advantage

Experience in consultative selling and a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets

• High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills

• Strong written, numerical and verbal skills

An attractive starting salary of £25-£29k DOE

Uncapped commission, paid monthly (£40k OTE)

Car allowance (£3k-£4k per annum)

This is a full time, permanent position. Office and field based, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
