Export Administrator

Reach Recruitment are currently recruiting an Export Administrator to join the well established team at our clients specialised Processing Plant.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will provide Sales office administration for the supply of a unique product portfolio to a global customer base. The small team are a friendly bunch, and looking forward to welcoming a new star to the office! All we are asking for is a real team player with the ability to learn and apply new skills.

About the role -

  • Primary sales order taker, processing of all orders and despatch paperwork.
  • Generate purchase orders for Suppliers
  • Regularly updating in house systems/reports with production information
  • Maintaining and updating Customer Master Data
  • General office administration including filing
  • Resolving customer queries, problems, order requests
  • Producing customer Sales documentation
  • Some assistance with producing despatch labels and paperwork

What experience are we looking for?

  • Processing and managing export documentation
  • Comfortable of speaking with people from all levels with strong customer service experience
  • Exporting and Importing experience – essential
  • Use of external software/portals
  • Custom Export Declarations (CHIEF or CDS) preferable
  • Ability to handle problems / conflict
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • Good attention to detail in all areas of work with strong administration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently

Working hours

Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:45 / Friday – 08:30 – 16:00

Salary is £22,000 to £24,000 depending on experience.
