Job title: Key Account Director - Business, Sponsorship and Events | Job type: Permanent

Salary: £30-38k basic and commission (£50k OTE).

Location: Remote with regular travel required across Cornwall, Devon & Plymouth for local events. Plus, a quarterly team meeting in Birmingham.

Reach Resourcing is proud and excited to be recruiting for a Key Account Director for our national client, Reach plc! This is a remote-based role, but travel will be required across Devon, Cornwall and Plymouth.

The primary role will entail the successful candidate to sell Business, Sponsorship and Events to SME businesses across the South-West. You'll be responsible for sourcing clients and sourcing revenue generation for events, before being handed over to an events manager.

You will effectively be able to drive new customer acquisition and manage, retain and grow customer revenues, through a consultative sales approach. 

If you have experience consistently delivering superb response for customers via B2B and Events sponsorship and digital opportunities associated with events, as well as their national and regional Business Live platform.

The Events and Sponsorship team is a brand new division, so you'll be able to mould this role into one that suits both yourself and your clients. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Events at Reach Regional.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be prospecting self and business-sourced leads, presenting their range of digital advertising and Events solutions, converting and retaining new and existing customers with a "best in class" sales approach
  • Using their B2B and events portfolio, you will present creative advertising solutions that are tailor-made and right for their customer
  • You will effectively manage client campaigns, reviewing performance to grow further sales revenue and increase our customer’s ROI

 

Person Specification:

  • Experience in a B2B, face to face, target driven Key Accounts sales role is essential
  • Experience in a Sponsorship Sales environment is highly desirable
  • Experience in a Digital Marketplace or an Advertising Agency background is desirable
  • Demonstrable Event Sponsorship and Digital Marketing skills
  • Understands the event industry, enjoy networking and building relationships
  • Consistently and proactively develops creative strategies and marketing campaigns for customers, being perceived as our customer’s marketing and sponsorship expert
  • Motivates self and organises time to achieve financial and non-financial goals.
  • Remote working model, with the ability to be flexible around travel and event attendance.
