Job Title: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Reach Resourcing are thrilled to be working with our reputable and established clients, a leading timber manufacturer in the area.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen due to business growth for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join the busy Engineering team. We are looking for experienced multi-skilled engineers with an electrical bias to join and become an integral part of the business.


The Role:

  • Undertaking reactive maintenance duties.
  • Coordinating spares stock levels.
  • Working closely with production management to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Sharing knowledge and best practice with machine operators.
  • New equipment installation.


About you:

  • Must have proven factory Maintenance experience and be confident in tackling Electrical and Mechanical problems
  • Must be multi-skilled
  • Must have served a recognised apprenticeship or Electrical Engineering to at least level 3
  • Experience with PLC’s
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team
  • It is essential candidates can work under pressure
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety
  • You will be a highly driven and determined individual
  • A real problem solver


Hours of work:

  • 12 hours per day, 4 on / 4 off (permanent days)
  • 12 hours per night, 4 on / 4 off (permanent nights)
